Mission

St. Mary’s multi-disciplinary orthopaedic services team, along with the Prevea Clinic orthopaedic surgeons, is dedicated to achieving our mission of providing the highest quality orthopaedic healthcare in a caring and collaborative partnership.

About Our Staff

Our group of nine board-certified or board-eligible orthopaedic surgeons specialize in reconstructive and total joint surgery, sports medicine, adult spine surgery, hand surgery, orthopaedic trauma surgery and pediatric orthopaedics and pediatric spine surgery.

What Makes Us Unique

Orthopaedic conditions are on the rise… St. Mary’s Bone and Joint Center provides comprehensive orthopaedic services.

  • About 40 million Americans have some type of arthritis – that’s one in seven persons.
  • Back pain impacts approximately 40 percent of the population at some time during their life.
  • Osteoporosis, a silent, painless disease that causes loss of bone mass, affects seven to eight million Americans – 80 percent of whom are women.
  • Fibromyalgia, a syndrome that causes chronic, sometimes debilitating muscle pain and fatigue, affects two percent of the population – most commonly women between the ages of 20 and 60.

These are just a few of the more prevalent conditions causing people to seek help from orthopaedic caregivers. Additionally, treatment of injuries and trauma conditions resulting from excessive use and/or stress to bone and joints and acquired conditions, such as birth defects of the musculoskeletal system, comprise another significant segment requiring orthopaedic care and treatment.
