Burn More Calories: Even After Your Workout
Three 10-minute workouts or one 30-minute workout. Both may be equally good for your health. But only the 30-minute workout will help you burn more calories throughout your day.
Researchers recruited 30 women. On the first day, the women walked continually for 30 minutes. On day two, they went for three 10-minute walks. On the third day, they didnt exercise. The women wore machines that calculated the number of calories they burned.
They burned almost 60 additional calories on the day they walked continually, compared to the day of the 10-minute walks.
The rest were burned during the remainder of the day. The women moved around more after they finished the 30-minute walk.
