Two Free Seminars for “May is Arthritis Month.”
May 13, 2009, 6:30 p.m.
Dr. Padraic Obma, Prevea Health Orthopedic Surgeon, will offer a presentation on “Degenerative Joint Disease of the Shoulder.” He will discuss management and treatment for shoulder pain. The seminar will be held 6:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Hospital, 1726 Shawano Ave, Green Bay. Enter through the Emergency Entrance on Shawano Ave, follow signs to Conference Room C.
May 21, 2009, 1 p.m.
Deborah Young, St.Mary’s Physical Therapist Assistant, will offer a presentation on “Gardening: :Benefits for Osteoporosis and Arthritis”. Learn tips of proper body mechanics and ways to protect hands, back and shoulders from injury while gardening.. This program will be held 1 p.m. at A Woman’s Place, 4th floor, 1727 Shawano Ave, Green Bay.
