The American Cancer Society’s Look Good…Feel Better program is a free, national public service program that helps women undergoing cancer treatment learn to cope with the appearance-related side effects of treatment.
Look Good…Feel Better provides education, information and support in a group setting. Volunteer cosmetologists (all certified professionals) teach women how to enhance their appearance using specific make-up techniques. Each woman learns to perform her own makeover using complimentary cosmetics and skin care products. Patients also learn how to disguise hair loss using wigs, turbans, scarves, and various accessories. Sessions and materials are provided at no charge.
Classes are offered on the first Monday of each month from 5:30 to 8:00 p.m. at A Woman’s Place. To register call 920-498-4205.
