Find a Doctor

Scott Stillwell, MD

Dr. Scott Stillwell, a family medicine physician at St. Gianna Clinic, offers faithful care to his patients.

“I am excited to practice medicine in an environment that cherishes and respects all life, and acknowledges God’s role as the Creator of life,” says Dr. Stillwell.

Dr. Stillwell is able to diagnose and treat emergent concerns and chronic illnesses, and is also experienced in helping people with common health issues. Dr. Stillwell provides regular health screenings and counseling to prevent disease before it happens.

“We treat everything from high blood pressure and diabetes, to rashes, fevers, coughs and colds. If somebody cuts their finger and needs a couple stitches, we’re here for that too,” said Dr. Stillwell.

Dr. Stillwell cares for men, women and children of all ages, which allows him to care for your entire family during every stage of life. While faith is at the center of Dr. Stillwell’s practice, he offers care for everyone, no matter their background.

“My role is to be a doctor,” said Dr. Stillwell. “If patients want to engage me and ask me why I do things the way that I do, I am happy to give an explanation, but it’s not part of my philosophy of care. It is my goal to build lasting relationships with my patients in order to offer them high quality and personal medical care.”

Melissa Weidert, MD

Providing care for women of all ages, Dr. Melissa Weidert is an obstetrician and gynecologist (OB/GYN) at St. Gianna Clinic.

“As a Catholic, pro-life physician, I address gynecologic and reproductive health conditions, while incorporating and following the teachings of the Catholic Church,” said Dr. Weidert. “Care I provide emphasizes that life begins at conception and lasts until natural death.”

Dr. Weidert is knowledgeable in natural family planning and provides diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic and reproductive health conditions using the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY treatment.

“I believe women deserve dignified, moral and ethical health care,” said Dr. Weidert. “By diagnosing and treating the underlying disease that causes gynecologic and reproductive health conditions, women can improve their overall health and wellness.”

Dr. Weidert is one of 25 physicians in the country to be medically and surgically fellowship-trained in NaProTECHNOLOGY from Pope Paul VI Institute in Omaha, Neb. She completed medical school at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health and completed her residency at Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, N.Y.

Charles Cassidy, MD

Dr. Charles Cassidy, who joined St. Gianna Clinic in 2019, provides Family Medicine and Women’s Care services. Dr. Cassidy says his patients should expect to be part of a shared decision-making process.

“I see myself as an advocate for patients in a health care system that is increasingly difficult to manage,” said Dr. Cassidy. “A wise man once said, ‘physicians are the natural attorneys of the poor.’ That’s why I make an extra effort to help patients get the care they need.”

Dr. Cassidy provides routine care for children and adults, as well as general obstetrics and gynecology services. Dr. Cassidy is trained in the diagnosis and treatment of gynecologic and reproductive health conditions using the Creighton Model FertilityCare System and NaProTECHNOLOGY.

“It is my goal to provide up-to-date information, as well as recommendations, to help patients decide what the best course of action might be,” said Dr. Cassidy.

Dr. Cassidy is fluent in both English and Spanish, and is certified by the American Board of Family Medicine.
