Welcome from the Chief Nurse Executive
Paula Hafeman DNP, RN, FACHE
“Serving as the Chief Nurse Executive of HSHS St. Vincent Hospital and St. Mary’s Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin, is a privilege and a pleasure. As a member of HSHS since 1978, I continue to be awed by the caring, commitment, and professionalism of my fellow nurses. These dedicated individuals are committed to excellence in all they do. They also practice our hospital values of respect, care, competence and joy as we strive to reveal and embody Jesus’ healing love for all people each and every day.
Nurses in the HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division are leading the way and shaping the future of nursing practice today, and it is exciting. We practice in a shared governance environment where nurses develop and implement the Nursing Strategic Plan.
The Nursing Strategic Plan is developed by nurses based on our four strategies:
- Advance mission
- Embrace excellence
- Develop people
- Drive value
I am extremely proud of our HSHS Eastern Wisconsin Division nursing colleagues and feel blessed to be leading this amazing team.”
